Cocktail Magic

Mabon Old Fashioned (Energy: transformation, abundance, ancestral strength)

Ingredients

2 oz/60 mL bourbon
1 oz/30 mL: prickly pear syrup
1 oz/30 mL blackberry puree
1/2 oz/15 mL lime juice
4 dashes orange bitters
Garnish: Maraschino cherry

Directions

Add bourbon, syrup, purree, lime juice & bitters to a rocks glass
Stir to combine
Add ice, stir until chilled
Garnish with a cherry

Maple Old Fashioned (Energy: transformation, positivity, divination)

Ingredients

2 oz/60 mL bourbon
1/2 oz/15 mL maple syrup
2 dashes orange bitters
Orange peel
Garnish: Cherry

Directions

Add bourbon, syrup, and bitters to a rocks glass
Stir to combine
Add ice, stir until chilled
Express orange oil by squeezing the peel, skin side down, over the glass, then drop in the drink
Garnish with a cherry
